USAF Intelligence Officer Mentoring

Alcon,
I am a United States Air Force Intelligence Captain that has been selected for promotion to Major.
I am committed to mentoring any/all officers who are interested in my advice.
I don't pretend that my advice, insight, or viewpoints are definitive; every situation is different, every person is different, and the lessons I learned may not be the ones you need to learn.
But if nothing else, this blog will be a source of leadership advice, experience, anecdotes, and reading material.

It is aimed most directly at USAF Intelligence Officers.  However, intelligence professionals of all ranks and services (civilians, too!) may find it useful, and even those merely interested in improving their leadership within a bureaucracy should find helpful topics.

The main topics of conversation will be:
Leadership
Intelligence Analysis
USAF Officership
Defeating Aging
Financial issues

The last two are not really USAF Intelligence Officer Mentoring issues...feel free to ignore as you wish.  But I do think that it is good to cultivate knowledge in all sorts of areas related to human nature and the human experience.  Earning money and holding back the clock are issues that will affect the US security situation, so there is at least a tangential reason to pay attention to these issues.
